JOE CORRERO, JR. grew up playing music in the heart of the Mississippi Delta.  He relocated to Los Angeles when asked to play with Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Since then, he has played with such notables as Joao Gilberto, Al Jarreau, Helen Reddy, Art Pepper, Chase, Morgana King, and Joe Farrell.  Joe has recorded in the studios with Joe Cocker, The Monkeys, and Eumir Deodata, Claus Ogerman, Clare Fisher, and Johnny Mandel.  He played for the “Hair” show, the “Rocky Horror Show”; “The Merv Griffin Show”, “The Dinah Shore Show”, and “The Smothers Brothers” television shows; and Lucille Ball and Jack Benny specials.

Joe has been on many popular recordings such as Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds’ number one hit records, “Don’t Pull Your Love Out On Me Baby” and “Falling In Love Again”.

Joe was presented the National Academy of Recording Arts and Science, Best Jazz Vocal Performance, for his contribution on “Look to the Rainbow” with Al Jarreau.  Joe is known as a musician’s musician because of his style sensitivity, creativity, and love of music.
